These Green Treated Battens are Type A timber and are ideal for a wide range of construction applications. Green wood is freshly cut and will have a high moisture content compared to seasoned timber.
The green treated battens are flexible and soft making them a great choice for lathe and chisel work. Please note that they do not comply with BS5534 standards and therefore should not be used for roofing.

This product has been great for creating a slatted fence for my garden. The price of wood is crazy at the moment but this was a relatively inexpensive way to create a stunning look. Ordering was easy, delivery was organised quickly and efficiently and it arrived on time, and with a smile!! Although it's not quite finished yet, I am 100% confident that it's going to look amazing! Thanks guys!!!!
