803 Type 1 aggregate is primarily used as a sub base for the construction of roads, pathways and car parks. It is a material produced using crushed limestone or granite, both of which are extremely strong and hard stones that are perfect for heavy load bearing surfaces. This sub base helps to make a level and stable construction layer as a platform for both asphalt and concrete.
Type 1 is also ideal for patios and driveways .

Works as 803 should, does seem to have quite a few larger stones in, not sure if that's as per the standard mix or not. Delivery and service was excellent.

Some of the stones were quite large had to remove a lot of them before compacting
